RDRPS worked with Aberdeenshire Council to upgrade the Deeside Way between the Bridge o'Bennie and Cordiners sawmill by providing access through the layby and providing a storage area for their materials. RDRPS had been consulted at the outset of the project with regards to the required width for the track and path, so we are now clear to progress the railway up to the back of Cordiners sawmill once the light vehicle bridge over the Burn O'Bennie is completed. An additional bonus of the path works has been the uncovering of part of the loading platform at the rear of the sawmill.
